Performance Off Road was established in 1991 as a custom fab shop for local 4x4 enthusiasts, in San Antonio, Texas. When the word was out it turned into a full blown off road super store. Performance Off Road at that time was the only shop in the San Antonio area that specialized in truck, jeep and sport utility vehicle accessories.

Since then the automotive accessory business has grown to be very popular. In 2000, Performance Off Road opened its first sister store (ORI) Off Road Innovations.

I really believe in family business which is the type of business our customers have grown to love. Having great customer service - by knowing your product, having good employees and keeping a clean shop is what has made our off road centers what they are today.
